About the role:

Darien Group is seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Designer with a strong focus on web design to join their team. This role centers on creating sophisticated, polished, and functional websites that elevate their clients’ brands. If you bring together creative thinking, rigorous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and near-mathematical precision in your designs, we’d love to meet you.

In this role you’ll be:

• Design and develop websites that effectively communicate client value while maintaining a premium and creative aesthetic.
• Translate research findings into wireframes, concepts, and high-fidelity design prototypes.
• Create interactive prototypes with thoughtful animation, even at the wireframe stage.
• Own multiple projects simultaneously, delivering exceptional work on schedule.
• Collaborate closely with developers, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation.
• Stay at the forefront of UI/UX trends and best practices, integrating them into project work.
• Contribute to team growth, with the potential to move into a leadership role and help shape creative direction.

About you:

• 5+ years in UI/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing recent website projects
  
• Proficiency in Figma (primary) and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to translate complex ideas into visually compelling and practical design solutions.
• Precision and attention to detail across all stages of the design process (wireframes, prototypes, developer handoff, QA).
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, and responsive design principles.
• Strong English (Upper-Intermediate or higher) to collaborate with U.S.-based team and clients.
• Exceptional communication and time management, analytical skills, and ability to thrive under deadlines and deliver best result possible.
• Web-first designer with familiarity in design systems (Material, HIG, etc.).
  Nice to have:
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for smoother developer collaboration.
• Experience working with clients in private equity, finance, or real assets.
