📍US/NY - Hybrid
About the company:
Prosper Health is redefining mental healthcare for autistic and neurodivergent adults - an underserved population facing some of the most urgent challenges in health outcomes. Through virtual, insurance-covered services, Prosper Health connects individuals with diagnostic assessments, neurodivergent-affirming therapy, and community.
In just two years, the company has reached double-digit millions in run-rate revenue, supports thousands of active clients, and partners with over 200 clinicians. Backed by a recent Series A, the team is lean, mission-driven, and poised to transform care at scale.
About the role:
Prosper Health is looking for a Founding Product Designer who is motivated to make a deep, lasting impact.
You’ll shape the end-to-end user experience for both clients and clinicians - helping define how mental health care is delivered through technology.
You'll collaborate directly with the CEO, engineers, and core team members to craft product solutions that are both compassionate and effective.
On-site 2-5 days/week in Chelsea (NYC), with remote flexibility available.
In this role you’ll be:
- Design and ship end-to-end product experiences across client and clinician platforms.
- Lead user research and usability testing, incorporating insights into product strategy.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to build fast, iterate, and ship quality work.
- Own the full design lifecycle - from discovery and wireframes to prototypes and polished UIs.
- Understand user needs deeply, especially for multi-sided workflows in a healthcare context.
- Set the tone for product design at Prosper Health and build a culture of craft, empathy, and impact.
About you:
- 3+ years designing tech products with a portfolio that demonstrates strong UX, systems thinking, and visual polish.
- Confident in leading user research and synthesizing findings into actionable design decisions.
- Self-directed and comfortable in early-stage, ambiguous environments.
- Proficient in Figma with strong prototyping and UI design skills.
- Communicative, collaborative, and motivated by impact.
- Will be a plus if you’ve worked in healthcare, with neurodivergent users, or in an early-stage startup.
Why this role:
- Chance to build the design function at a fast-growing company.
-
Opportunity to design solutions for complex, meaningful problems.
-
Close collaboration with engineers, care experts, and leadership.
- Fast-paced, mission-driven environment focused on impact.
