About the role:

As a Frontend Engineer at HappyRobot, you'll play a central role in building intuitive, scalable interfaces that support millions of daily interactions. This role blends frontend expertise with product development, directly impacting user experience, scalability, and innovation. You’ll partner closely with the CTO and Co-Founder, driving key frontend decisions and helping shape a dynamic, rapidly evolving product.

In this role you’ll be:
  • Develop and optimize new UI features and product sections, primarily focused on frontend (80% frontend, 20% backend).
  • Build scalable web applications using React and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership and engineering teams to solve critical technical problems.
  • Optimize frontend performance to support millions of daily interactions.
  • Embrace a founder mindset—ownership, independence, and hands-on product building.

About you:
  • 4+ years of frontend-focused software engineering experience
  • Strong technical skills in React and TypeScript, with a keen eye for intuitive UI/UX design.
  • Passionate about AI-driven technologies and comfortable thriving in high-intensity environments.
  • Excellent communication, ownership mindset, flexibility, and willingness to tackle diverse tasks.
