Used by hundreds of thousands, it enables users to collate and analyze papers, uncover connections, expand ideas with AI, and collaborate in a shared workspace.

About the role:

We’re looking for a product designer to help us shape the future of science. We are not just looking for someone to churn out Figma screens. We’re looking for someone who we can lean on for all things visuals -- from the design of a sticker to the feeling of an animation in the product.

As a founding member of the team, you'll make a significant impact as we rapidly scale revenue from $1M to $10M and then $10M to $100M+.

In this role you’ll be:

• Lead end-to-end product design projects and work closely with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation.

• Work directly with users and translate their needs into tangible user flows and actionable product decisions, directly impacting product direction.

• Create flows, prototypes and high-fidelity visuals for your features and improvements.

• Help evolve our brand and visuals and implement in Framer for marketing, company information, new launches and fun experiments.

About you:

• 3+ years of experience: user research → feature design → shipping with engineers → iterating.
• Startup mindset: fast shipping, multitasking, occasional weekends.
• Experience evolving brand/visuals; will collaborate on rebranding but contribute to shaping it.
• Proven independence: side projects with users/revenue a plus.
• Strong portfolio required; work matters more than degrees or big-name companies.
• Action-oriented: move fast, take the initiative, and handle challenges confidently.
• Pixel-perfect design: excellent interaction/UI design and attention to detail.
